Scrapbook Sunday - Michaela's San Fran completed

Good Morning Stampers!

Well I have a completed paper bag album for you today.  I began this album over a month ago and have worked on it slowly.  I have it finished and I am taking it to her today.  This is a long post as I have lots of pics to share.  I will post them small but you can click on them to see them better.  I also do not have the back page.  It is finished but the back page and some of my circle punches must be in the same area as I cannot find either.  I will be on a hunt when I get back.

First Fall Card

Good Morning Stampers!

Well I finally broke down and decided to do a Fall card.  I could not help myself as the colors for the challenge said fall to me.

I started with the color challenge at Create, Ink!

ColorChallenge50

I used the sketch challenge at Mary Jo's Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5ChjOguYdCE/TizdnuB8KmI/AAAAAAAAF6U/qFwT-z8r2ZM/s1600/TSSC184.jpg

I just knew fall leaves would look great as the double element.  Here is what I created.

So did you like my first fall card?  I was hoping it would bring us some cooler weather and get rid of some of this humidity.

This is also a blog hop so here are the other entries.

Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!

Sketch Frenzy Friday - Summer Flowers

Hi Ladies!

It is Sketch Frenzy Friday!  I am also spending some time with Zoie.  The family moved on base so Jess has a lot to do to get resettled into their house.  That is fine with me as I get to take card of Zoie.  I am hoping to get some good pics.  If I do I will post them for you.

My card today uses a sketch created by Tammy Fite.

I modified it a little by moving the sentiment at it fit better at the bottom.  Here is what I did with the sketch.

Hope you enjoyed this bright summery card.  Not it is time for you to hop on over the Sharon Wheet's blog.  Thanks for looking and have a Fabulous Friday!

List is completed

Well I got all my design team commitments completed so I can post while I am gone.  Now I still need to clean the bathroom, pack, go to the dump, and work tomorrow.  I figure if I get up very, very early I can clean the bathroom, then get ready to go to the dump and work.  Then all I need to do is come home and pack.  Do you think I can get that done and get out of here by 1:30 - 2:00?  I will let you know tomorrow.

My card today used the sketch challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday

When I saw this I immediately thought of the daisy in Every Moment.  If you don't know already the daisy is my favorite flower.  I just knew it would be perfect for the oval element.  I stamped the daisy in black and colored the center with Daffodil Delight.  I wanted to add a little pizzazz so I pulled out my glitter pen and traced the daisy.  It has just a little bit of sparkle.  Now the all time best color to go with yellow is blue so I pulled out some Pacific Point.  I added a touch of Pear Pizzazz and I was done.  Here is my creation using the sketch.

So what do you think of my card?  Do you like it?  Thanks for looking and have a Great Day!

Hand Stamped Sentiments - Flourish

Good Morning Stampers!

Well my time is running out but I only have a few cards left to make.  I will make it but may not get a few other things I wanted to do completed.

Today at Hand Stamped Sentiments our challenge is to use a flourish.

I combined it with the sketch challenge at Stamping 411

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WiFiBnGwzMk/TiifC4XZu7I/AAAAAAAABcc/nUCnjtjkk-4/s1600/ssc213.jpg

I thought that flourishes was our challenge last week so I missed our challenge last week.  This week I got it right and added my flourish.  Here is my creation.

Hope you enjoyed my card.  Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!

Late Night Stampers - All White

Good Morning Stampers!

We had a break in the heat yesterday. We got below 100 degrees.  This will be short lived as later this week it will go back up.  I'm not complaining as it gives me more time to stamp!

At Late Night Stampers this week we have a white challenge.  We had to create a card using only white.  The sentiment could be stamped in any color but that is the only color allowed.  Since I don't usually add a sentiment my card would be all white.

Not knowing how to do an all white card, I decided to begin with a sketch challenge.  I wanted something with layers as that way I could add textures using embossing folders.  I found a great sketch at Try Stampin' On Tuesday

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4zH0CVORXU0/TiVXbVdPNCI/AAAAAAAAC58/LZiyvDmVuGw/s1600/Project+24-001.jpg

This one had lots of layers and began embossing the different elements.  I love how this turned out.  Here is my creation.

Isn't it a pretty card?  Would make a great shower card or wedding card.  I used 4 different embossing folders.  They all go together very will.  Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!

Scrapbook Sunday - another new mini

Good Morning Ladies!

Well I am slowly crossing things off my list.  I am starting to breathe a little easier as I think I will get it done.  I just need to 5 more design team commitments, design 4 simple cards for my retirement village ladies, and take pics of my checkbook cover mini album I am doing for an online class on Tuesday and Wednesday.  I am hoping to take care of the mini album and most of those cards tomorrow.

I saw another video online for a great envelope mini.  I have seen 2 of the videos and have the main part of the album completed.  Just need to do the covers and the binding.  I am hoping she posts them before I leave as I wanted to take this album to Michaela also.

I have a lot of card sets I bought long before I became a demo.  They have been sitting and collecting dust so I decided I needed to use them.  I chose to use the black ones this time.  There are 3 sets of pages that go into the album.

Here is the front page of the album.

Here is the inside 2 pages

Here is the back page

Here are the 2 cards made to fit in the pockets.

I can't wait to get this one finished.  I will share it with you when it is completed.  Thanks for looking and have a Sensational Sunday!

Playing with the new In colors

Good Morning Stampers!

Well I crossed and other thing off my list.  I cannot share it with you as it is a project I made for Stampin' Fun and Friends Special Occasion session.  I love how it turned out.  I think the ladies who are registered are going to like it.  It is not too late to join us.  The first project will be released on Monday so you can visit CherylAnn's blog  and join us.

The heat was horrible yesterday.  I went shopping with a friend to the Talbot's outlet yesterday and when we came out of the store the heat was overwhelming.  When we came home I spent the afternoon finishing up a project, making a card for today, and start my scrapbook for tomorrow's post.

My card today uses the sketch challenge from Diva Coffee Break Design team

Here is what I did with the sketch.

Hope you enjoyed my card today.  I will be working on more of my projects to get done before I got to my daughter's.  Thanks for looking and have a Super "cool" Saturday!

Sketch Frenzy Friday - Flower Fest

Hello Stampers!

Well it is Friday and that means it is time for our sketch at Sketch Frenzy Friday.  Before we get on with the sketch I need to let you know we have a new member to our team.  Sharon Wheet will be playing with us so make sure you go to her blog from my link at the bottom and welcome her.

We have a great sketch this week.  This sketch was created by Tammy Baldwin.  Here is what she gave us to work with.

I loved the diamond in the middle and modified it a bit to fit my creation.  Here is what I did with her sketch.

So what did you think of my card?  I had fun creating it.  Now it is time to head on over to Sharon Wheat's blog  to see what she did with the sketch.  Thanks for looking and have a Fabulous Friday!
