Sketch Frenzy Friday -

Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited.  Both of my girls and grand daughter will be here this weekend!  I also have my Christmas stamp-a-stack.  Busy weekend but I will love every minute of it.

We had a great sketch that Patrice did for us.

When I started this I thought my tag would be the perfect size.  Needless to say when it was finished it was a little bit too big.  I made it work though.  Here is my creation.

Hmmm, it wasn't until I posted this that I noticed the sentiment looks odd.  It looks like I put it on crooked.  Guess I need to fix that.  Well are you ready to hop on to the next blog to see what was created.  Sharon Wheet I am certain will have something great for you to look at.  Thanks for visiting me today!  Thanks for looking and have a Fabulous Friday!

Lucky Three Little Words

Hello Stampers!

Can you believe it is Thursday already?  I have so much to do that I am going to be running for the next few days.  Thank heavens I have my cards done for the next few days so you will have something to look at.

My card today is a little different.  I began with the color challenge at Create, Ink!

http://www.inkrediblestamping.com/.a/6a00d8341d773253ef0154356ffb8f970c-800wi

Then I used the sketch challenge at Sunny Challenges and Creations

I wasn't sure what I was going to do so I pulled out my catalog and started looking to find a set.  I found a set but the sketch didn't work.  So I decided to flip the sketch to make it work with the set I wanted to use.  Here is my creation.

Hope you liked my card today.  Thanks for looking and have a Great Day!

The Paper Players Fall Card

Good Morning Stampers!

Well it is raining again!  We have had so much rain this month.  My grass is growing so much and with the rain it is so hard to get it cut.  Poor Bijou is getting lost in the grass it is so tall.

My card today was created using the sketch from The Paper Players.  A good friend of mine Anne Marie designed the sketch.  If you have not visited her blog you need too as it is amazing.  Here is her sketch.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-o48Iks7FjIc/TjuUeVdrAcI/AAAAAAAAFbs/eTdCuFaUNGQ/s1600/Jaydee%2527s+August+Sketch.png

I actually had an idea for this card on my way to work today.  All I had to do was come home and choose my colors.  Since we have a Fall Challenge at Late Night Stampers I decided to use some fall colors to make my card.  Here is what I created.

I just love the look of this card.  I did modify the sketch a little as I wanted ribbon so I moved the butterfly shaped element to the top so I could add my ribbon.  Hope you enjoyed my card.  Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Hand Stamped Sentiments - Halloween

Hello Stampers!

Over at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have a great challenge this week - Halloween.

I decided to use a set that I have not used much this season.  I combined it with some ds paper.  This is a clean and simple card and I love how it turned out.  These little images are so cute and the sayings around them are too fun.  Here is my creation for our challenge.

Late Night Stampers - Fall

Good Morning Stampers!

Well I went to get my entries from the County Fair.  I got first place for my card and bathtub mini album and second place for my cross stitch box.  I am headed to a neighboring county to enter some things in their fair.  I will let you know how I do.

Our challenge this week at Late Night Stampers is to create a Fall card.  I had a card in mind when I started but this is not what I had in mind.  I saw my Lovely as a Tree set and the whole card changed.   After I had the main image done a light bulb went off and I wanted to do the leaves hanging from the linen thread.  I mounted the leaves and linen thread using dimensionals.  Here is my creation.

And now for a little teaser!  I wanted to share with you one of my projects for the Stampin' Fun And Friends Autumn Artistry session.  I love how this turned out.  If you want to get some great  tutorials for projects head on over to Try Stampin' on Tuesday and click on the link at the top to join us.

Scrapbook Sunday - accordion album

Hello Stampers!

Well it is Scrapbook Sunday and I have a cute mini to share with you.  Several weeks ago a group I am in (SUStars) had a blog hop and all the blogs had scrapbooking projects to share.  One of the sites had this cute accordion fold mini album.  I used the directions and modified it a little so that I could get a bigger picture on it.  Here is my version of the album.

This is the perfect size to fit in my purse and when someone now asks to if I have pics I can pull this out.  I also used the photo corners so I can slip the photo under the corners and not glue them down.  This way I can change the photos as Zoie is growing so fast.

Speaking of Zoie, here are some pics I took of her yesterday.  It was her first experience with people food.  She had peas.  These are super cute!

Hope you enjoyed my scrapbook and my pictures of Zoie.  She loved the peas and wanted more.  Thanks for looking and have a Sensational Sunday!

Try Stampin' On Tuesday Sunflower

Happy Saturday Everyone!

Well another quick post today.  Jess and I are making flower pot invitations for the baby shower she is giving for her friend.  Her friend is an avid gardener so we are going with a garden theme.  She saw the flower pot card and wanted to make them for invitations.  We need 50 - yes I said 50 - of them.  We will be busy bees today.

My card today uses the sketch challenge Try Stampin' on Tuesday.  My card last week was chosen as one of the top 3.  I was so honored.  Here is the great sketch I had to work with.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ayLN41EM7dg/Tnh5XcB7SBI/AAAAAAAADHg/LigaF5CMQvU/s1600/Project+33-001.jpg

When I saw the large circle image I thought of a sunflower so I pulled out my daisy die and got busy.  Here is what I created.

I just had to pair it with the Spice Cake ds paper.  I think this makes a quick but pretty fall card don't you!  Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!

Late Night Stampers - Baby

Good Morning Ladies!

So how does everyone's week look?  Mine is crazy busy!  I have a lot to get done before I head to Jess' on Thursday.

My card today is for a baby gift I am making.  My daughter's former boss and his wife are expecting their first child.  He helped Michaela out a lot and I wanted to make him some baby blankets.  They are not going to find out the sex so I am going for neutral colors until after the baby is born and then I will make some gender specific ones.

I don't have many baby sets as I do not have the need for them.  I do however have the Baby Tees wheel so I pulled it out to use.  I also combined it with the baby pin from a retired set and also used a retired set for the giraffe on the inside.  Here is what I created.

Hope you liked my card today.  If you came to visit me early yesterday my post did not go up until later.  I shared my new mini if you want to check it out.  Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!

My latest mini album

Sorry this is late but I did not get the pieces finished last night and just finished it up.

I had a few pictures of Zoie taking a bath and had this brilliant idea to make a bath tub to display them on.  I found an old fashioned one online and used it as my pattern.  Here is my mini album.

I have created little soap bars that I am using to journal on.  The rest of the pages look like these just different pics.

So what do you think?  Isn't this the cutest idea!  I love it.  I have a bunch of beach pictures I will be doing another mini with but it won't be done for about a month.  Thanks for looking and have a Sensational Sunday!

An ATC and a Halloween share

Hello Ladies!

Wow did it get chilly here.  I took Bijou out and did not realize it was chilly so I was anxious to get back inside.  Later in the day I put my jacket on before I went out.  Next week it is supposed to be in the 70's so that will be great weather.

I have 2 shares for you today.  The first is my card.  I used Mary Jo's Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TInJXizkjtA/Tm3j7Y7N_tI/AAAAAAAAF-4/__GPjHFWq_E/s1600/TSSC191.jpg

To get this to work for me I flipped the sketch.  Here is what I did with her sketch.

inside of the card

I wanted to use a different layout from my previous card.  What do you think?

My next share is an ATC (Artistic Trading Card) I created for the school challenge at my mini-books group.

I am working on a scrapbook project for tomorrow.  I am hoping to get it done so check back tomorrow to see my latest mini album.  I'll give you a hint - it is a shaped one again.  Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!
