Moroccan Thanks

Good Morning Ladies ~  Today I have a Moroccan Thanks card for you.

The weather her in North Carolina has been delightful.  The rest of the week is supposed to be just as nice.  It has been nice to have a continuance of the great weather from California.

I have been slowly using up some of my dsp from the catalog.  I usually end up with a ton of it left over when the catalog retires.  I am hoping not to have as much left.  I used some of the Moroccan dsp.  I love how our paper can be mixed and matched.  I did that today with this dsp.  I combined 3 different patterns.  Here is my simple card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Which dsp is your paper from our catalog this year?  Have a Sensational Sunday and if you have the Moroccan dsp show me what you would create!

Vintage Leaves

Hello Everyone ~ Today I have a card we did in my workshop last month that used Vintage Leaves.

I am headed to North Carolina today.  I have a 6 hour ride ahead of me but I put on my music and just drive.  It will be fun to spend time with Barb!

I am sharing a card we made in my workshop last month.  I realized when I posted the picture that the card was photographed upside down.  Ooops, did not have time to rephotograph it.  Guess I will be fixing that one before I send it out!  I used a Cherry Cobbler card base.  The Woodland embossing folder was embossed with Crumb Cake.  I wrapped some of the gold sequin trim around it and then attached it to my card front.  I then used the Vintage Leaves and ink and sponge daubers to color the leaf stamps.  They were stamped on Very Vanilla and then I used the Leaf thinlits to cut it them out.  I tied the leaves together using some linen thread and attached to the card front with dimensionals.  Here is my card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you enjoyed my upside down card today.  Have a Great Day and pull out your Vintage Leaves and create a Fall card.

Spider Web

Hello Stampers ~ Well I have a spider web for you today!
Well we are finally back home.  We landed about 11:30 Monday night and then had a 2 hours drive home once we got our vehicle.  We did not get home until around 2:00 am.  Needless to say we were tired yesterday.  We all managed to get through the day but we were in bed early last night.

Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.   We still have our Halloween theme this week.

I loved the spider web embossing folder we had last year.  I still have mine so I used it to create a background for my card.  I added some elements from the September Paper Pumpkin to finish off my card.  I stamped the sentiment from the kit on one of the plain shapes.  For the shape that had a cauldron on it I stamped the spider hanging down from it.  I then attached it to a piece of Old Olive card stock and cut around the shape leaving a little border.  I added both of the shapes using dimensionals.  I took a piece of the flag sticker and attached it to the lower left edge.  To finish off the card I added 3 of the Halloween Night enamel dots.  Here is my card for you today.

Global Stampers - Fionna

Hello Ladies ~ Are you ready for this month's Global Stampers creations?  First up is Fionna!

Today I have a Christmas card workshop this afternoon.  I know I just got back yesterday!  I cut the paper and had it ready before I left.  So basically all I have to do is explain how to put the cards together.  I also have a mountain of laundry to do but I can do that in between all the other things I need to get done.

Fionna has created a beautiful card for us today.  She used some of the specialty paper from the Paisleys and Posies dsp.  She then used the One Big Meaning stamp set and our Copper embossing powder.  She added the sentiment to a layer of our Copper Foil paper.  These 3 items make a very elegant card.  Here is her creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you have some of this dsp as it is gorgeous!  Have a Marvelous Monday!

Global Stampers - Ann

Hello Everyone ~ Well I am on my way to North Carolina.  It is a 5 - 6 hour drive but I put on my music and drive.  It goes by pretty quickly.

Today I am sharing another Global Stamper project.  Our theme this month was thank you project.  Our share today comes from Ann's Blog - Ann's Paper Works.  She had a great little gift along with a cute card.  Here is her share.

I don't know about you but I love the colors she used.  I also think she was very creative with how she used the Flourish Thinlets.  Make sure you visit her blog and leave her some love!

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you take some time to get inky today.  Have a Great Day!

Make My Monday

Hello, Hello, Hello ~ I am going to Make Your Monday today with my card!

Well today we are headed back home.  It will be a long day for us as we do not land until about 11 tonight.  Then we have a 2 hour drive home.  It will be good to get back home and in my own bed.

Our theme for today at Make My Monday is

'I Put a Spell On You'

This theme reminded me of a spooky scene so I used our Spooky Fun bundle to create my card.  I began by sponging my background.  Next I used the Halloween scene thinlits to cut our some pumpkins and a fence.  I then used the Spooky Fun stamp set to stamp some pumpkin faces on my pumpkins.  I attached them to my card using Tombow Multipurpose glue and dimensionals.  To finish off my card I stamped some bats and the sentiment from the same stamp set.  Here is my creation.

Make sure you head over to the Make My Monday blog to check out what the other ladies created using this theme.

Peachy Thank You

Hello Ev'seryone ~ Today I have a Thank You card using the Fresh Fruit suite.

Well the big event is over.  This morning we are headed to Rose and Gary's (Josh's parents) for a breakfast.  Then we will head back to the beach house for our last day at the beach!  Hard to believe we have been here for a week!

Today is the Global Stampers shares.  This month we are doing thank you cards.  I have a fancy fold card for you today.  This is a modified gate fold with a belly band.  I cut my paper for a regular card but then scored it so the flap was at the bottom and overlapped just slightly.  I used some of the Fruit Stand dsp to decorate the flaps.  To add a little pizzazz I cut a strip of card stock using the Flourish thinlits dies and added it to the bottom of the top flap.  To keep the card together I created a belly band with the peach from the Fresh Fruit stamp set.  I stamped my thank you and added it to the bottom of the oval.  Here is my creation.

Remarkable Thanks

Good Morning Everyone ~  my card today uses the Remarkable You stamp set.

Today is the Big Day!  We have hair and make up this morning and then some photos.  After that we will head to the venue for the wedding.  I will try and post pictures tomorrow but can't promise.  Here are some photos from the Taco party last night.  I did not get pictures of anything else as I was busy chasing Remi!  It was a beautiful event and the Tacos were delicious!

My card today uses a piece I colored while visiting Michaela.  I used watercolor pencils and colored it then used a watercolor brush to blend the colors.  I decided to make the flower the focal point of the card.  I cut a tag out of Elegant Eggplant and mounted the flower on the side.  I used some of the Regals paper stack and the striped Elegant Eggplant paper to attach to a Whisper White card base.  I added the tag with dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment and punched it out with the word window punch.  My card was finished.  Here is my completed creation.
