Falling

Hello Stampers ~Do you know 2 products that begin with the word Falling?  I used them today on my card.

Today Remi starts preschool.  Jess had to wait until she was 2 and then she had to wait until there was an opening since she is only going 2 days a week.  It will be interesting to see how this goes.  I think we will have a few weeks of adjustment and then she will settle in.  This should free up Jess 4 days a week which means I will also be freed up to play in my craft room and work ahead.

Over at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have a sketch challenge this time.

I decided to play with some of the Falling in Love dsp on this one ~ specifically one that is not one of my favorite.   In the past I have shared a way to use the dsp you don't care for by covering it with another layer.  My card today is another way to dsp by using a small amount of it on a panel.

I began with a piece of Blushing Bride card stock.  I embossed it with the Falling Petals embossing folder.  This piece was attached to the Very Vanilla card base.  I chose the piece of dsp that was to me very busy.  This was mounted onto a piece of Sahara Sand card stock.  I attached this panel to the card base with dimensionals.  All I needed then was a sentiment. The Crazy for You set allowed me to create my own sentiment.  I stamped it in Sahara Sand ink and flagged the ends.  I add it to my card base with dimensionals.  Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Head on over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog  to see the other projects from the ladies.  We would love to have you play along with us.  Have a Terrific Tuesday and I hope you enjoyed seeing my 2 products that begin with Falling!

Beautiful colors and I love that embossing folder, I have to add that to my wish list. The butterfly paper is awesome. pjs-projects.blogspot.com
