Bingo Evening

Good Morning Ladies ~

Well I made it back on Sunday with no issues.  While I was in North Carolina I bought a new car.  I had been looking for a while.  Before I left I went to the dealership here to test drive a car.  They did not have one on their lot for me to test drive.  They said as soon as they get them in they are sold.  I took some time while I was there and went to the dealership.  They had one like I was looking for but not the right interior.  I decided to test drive it and I loved it.  I explained it did not have the interior I wanted.  He said he would look and see if he could find one.  They had one that they could get so I contacted my financial guy and he and the salesman worked out a deal.  So I went and signed the papers and brought it home.  I got a Toyota Highlander.  Here is the pic.

Ok on to my cards for today.  Before I left Renee and I held our second Bingo night.  We play a few games of Bingo then we take a break and have 4 make-n-takes.  Then we go back and play some more Bingo.  Our prizes are all Stampin' Up items.  Everyone had a great time.

Today I am going to share the 2 cards I designed for the evening.  The first one used the Balloon Adventures stamp set.  I paired it with Party Animal dsp.  The card is on a Note Card.  Here is the first card they made.

The second card used the Basket Bunch set.  I only used 2 images from the set.  I stamped the images with Early Espresso.  I then used retired oval punches for the sentiment and the Stitched Shapes framelits for the image.  I used a Subtles Paper Stack pattern for the background and added some Gold ribbon.  This one is also on a Note card.  Here is my second card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be working on some projects for the rest of the week.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!

November Thanks You

Good Morning Everyone ~ I have another Thank You card today.

I hope you are ready to start your week!  I have a couple of appointments today but only if I do not have jury duty.  I am hoping I do not as I don't want to have to reschedule them.  I have about 3 more weeks and then I will be finished with jury duty.  I hope I do not have it again for a couple of years!

I thought I would share the card I created for my customers who ordered from me in November.  This card is so pretty in real life.  It uses several sets to accomplish the look.  I love the black and Sweet Sugarplum together so I will have to use it again.  The flower is sparkly as I used my clear Wink of Stella on it.  Here is my finished card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have a lot to get accomplished as I am supposed to have a group of ladies stamp tomorrow.  Again that will depend on whether I have jury duty or not.  Have a Marvelous Monday and take some time to make some Thank You cards yourself!

Global Stampers - Valerie

Hello Ladies ~ We have our last Global Stamper today ~ Valerie!

Well as you read this I am headed home today.  It has been a great week but I have to get back as I have classes coming up I need to prepare for.

Our last Global Stamper is Valerie at Les Ateliers de Val.  Valerie used the Love Notes framelits along with the Sending Love dsp.  I love how she used one of the heart framelits and cut out 4 of them using the Sending Love dsp.  She then used these to create her own strip of popped up hearts mimicking the border framelit in the set but in a larger version.  Great idea to use those framelits in a different way.  Here is Valerie's project.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Make sure you check out Valerie's blog and let her know you enjoyed her creative use of the framelit.  Have a Sensational Sunday!

Global Stampers - Alicia

Hello Stampers ~ Are you ready for Alicia's shares today?

Well today is my last day in New Bern.  The week usually flies by when I am visiting.  Sometimes I wish I could slow it down just a little.

Up next on our Global Stampers share is Alicia at Stamp Creations with Munchkin.

Alicia created a creative closure to a gate fold card.  I love how she used the heart strip to hold the front closed.  For her project in the front she used the Sealed with Love bundle.  The project in the back used the same bundle but she added one of our cute doilies.  She also created quite a few other projects using this Suite so make sure you visit her blog to see what else she created.  Here is her project.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Make sure you play with this suite!  It is a lot of fun to use!  Have a Super Saturday!

Global Stampers - Fiona

Good Morning Ladies ~ today it is Fiona's turn to show her Global Stampers project.

Well this morning Barb and I are going to a card workshop.  Sometimes when I am visiting the timing is right for the workshop in her area.  If I am there I like to go.  It is good to be a student rather than the teacher.  Plus it is always fun to try some other style cards.  I love learning new things.

I am continuing with our Global Stampers projects.  This month we were to use anything from the Sending Love Suite.  This project was created by Fiona at Oakfield Crafts.

Fiona created some cute 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" cards,  She used the Sealed with Love bundle as well as the Sending Love dsp.  On her blog she shares 2 other cards and a cute box to hold all the cards.  Make sure you pop over to her blog to check out the cards and her box.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Not sure what else we will do today since the workshop takes the morning.  We may just relax the rest of the day.  Have a Fabulous Friday and don't forget to visit Fiona's blog to see the rest of her project.

Thursday Focus - Sending Love

Hello Stampers ~ It is Thursday Focus and I have Sending Love for you.

I was able to get the 2 tasks I wanted to get completed finished before I left.  I then scheduled my announcements so my ladies know about my 2 upcoming classes.  I have a few this coming up next week and then I start with my monthly collage class and my monthly workshop.  February will be busy as Jess will be having Remi's second birthday party.  It will just be family but there are still some preparations.

Our Thursday Focus blog hop is today.  We are again using the Sending Love dsp.  You should have arrived here from Joni's blog - Joni in the Spotlight Stamping.

I saw an idea on someone's blog where they used cards from the Holiday catalog for the layout for items from the Occasions catalog.  I found this card on page 26 of the Holiday catalog.

I decided to use it for my inspiration.  I began with the dsp and added a strip of Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper.  The doily was cut in half and added to the top and bottom of the dsp.  This panel was attached to my Real Red card base.  The sentiment was stamped with Real Red ink onto white card stock.  This was layered onto a Real Red layer that was slightly larger.  The completed sentiment panel was attached to the card front using dimensionals.  To finish off my card, I punched 2 small hearts from glimmer paper and added them with glue dots.  Here is my completed creation.

Are you ready to check out the next blog on the hop?  Amanda at Our Crafty Playdate is up next.  I am sure you will enjoy her project.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you have enjoyed all the Sending Love suite projects we have shared this month.  Have a Great Day and use our Thursday Focus - Sending Love to inspire you card today.
