Global Stamper - Alicia

Hello Everyone ~ I am picking up the Global Stampers - Alicia as I had commitments on the other days.

I had a very productive day yesterday.  I got 3 videos for my 10 Minute Creations made so I am set for the next 3 weeks.  I also had a coaching class and we got a lot accomplished for that.  I even got the house vacuumed.  It was a great day!

This month the Global Stampers were to use a Sale-abration item to create a project.  Today I am sharing Alicia from Stamp Creations with Munchkin and her use of the Reverse Words stamp set you can get free with a $50 order.  Alicia took the stamp and stamped it onto her card base.  She then added some enamel shapes in the matching color.  She created one card in each of the 5 new In Colors.  To finish off her card she added some ruched ribbon in the same matching color.   This makes a quick card!  Here is her set of cards.

Thanks for visiting me and I hope I have inspired you today.  Take some time to play and feed your creativity!  Have a Fabulous Friday and look for another Global Stamper tomorrow!

Product Focus

Are you getting my newsletter?  If not make sure you sign up using the form on the right!

Well Hello Stampers ~ Are you ready for some great projects for our Product Focus?

I worked on on cards yesterday as well as cleaned my bathrooms.  I got the cards made for my sister's retirement group meeting next week finished.  I was glad to get those designed.  Today I will make my video for Sunday as no one will be here and it will be quiet.  I might even get a few other videos made so I am prepared for the next couple of Sunday's.  Love being ahead on things.

Today we have our Product Focus blog hop.  This week we were to do use one of the new Sale-abration item.

I only had the glimmer paper from this second release and it is sold out.  I am so bummed as I love my bling.  I would love to see more glimmer paper in the new catalog, how about you?  With a few of the items sold out they decided to add some more items to the selection.  They have added the Succulent Garden dsp.  I have this paper and I love it - again was not fond of it when I saw it in the catalog, then the samples started being posted.  I chose to use that today since you cannot get the glimmer paper any more.

I started with an idea to show you how to use some of the scraps you have left over when you cut down your dsp.  I had several pieces of 2" x 3 3/4".  I chose to revisit the split paper idea.  The pieces of dsp were taken and cut on a diagonal on the long side.  To make them look like it was one piece and not 2 separate pieces I used the first one as a guide to cut the second piece.  These pieces were added to a Sweet Sugarplum panel that was 4" x 5 1/4".  The sentiment was stamped in the middle section using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  To finish off the panel I added some Whisper White baker's twine and then created a multi-loop bow.  The bow was added with a glue dot.  This panel was added to a Whisper White card base.  My card is complete!  Here is my creation.

C.A.S.E. the One Behind You

Hello Everyone ~Are you ready to see my C.A.S.E. the One Behind You card?

I manged to get a few cards made yesterday and cut for my Suite Envy Class.  I still need to finish my cutting but that won't take me long.  Then I need to make my 10 minute Creation video for Sunday.  busy day ahead for me.

Our challenge this week for Coloring Down the Lines is

This was an interesting challenge as I got to visit the blog of Amanda as she follows me to find a card to C.A.S.E.  I looked through several of her pages and I found a fun card I wanted to give a try.  Here is her card.

I loved the paper she used and I have some of it so I knew this would be the perfect card for me.  I began by cutting the white panel and attaching it to a Basic Black card base.  Next I pulled out the Pop of Pink dsp and the Stitched Shapes framelits and cut my circles. Then using the Balloon Bouquet punch I punched out 2 of the larger balloons using Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper.  A balloon each of the 2 designs in the Balloon Adventures bundle was cut using black card stock.  Now I was ready to layer the circles and balloons.  I used dimensionals for most of them.  The cut outs of the balloons were added to the Dazzling Diamonds balloons using Tombow glue.  Black and White baker's twine was tied around the base of the balloons and they were added to the card base using dimensionals.  The strings were knotted together and a glue dot was used to hold the knot in place.  The sentiment was changed but was still stamped with Melon Mambo.  My card is finished.  Here is my C.A.S.E. of Amanda's card.

Now it is time to head on over to Amanda's blog - Our Crafty Playdate to see who she had to C.A.S.E. and which card she chose.

Thanks for visiting me today.  It is supposed to be cold so I won't mind staying inside and working on my projects.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday and what did you think of our idea to C.A.S.E. the One Behind You?

Great Friend

Hello Everyone ~ I know we all have a Great Friend so here is the perfect card for that person.

Well I am feeling a little better today.  I took it easy yesterday and even took a short nap ~ something I never do.  Today I have a lot to do to play catch up since I did not do anything yesterday.  I will get it done just may take me a little longer.

Our next challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments  is an inspiration challenge.

When I looked at the picture, I was drawn to the large sentiment block in the upper left hand corner.  I thought about it and went looking through my stamps to see what I had.  I found the perfect on in Window Shopping.  I began by stamping a Crumb Cake card base with the Hardwood background using Soft Suede ink. Using the embossing buddy I wiped it across the front of the card.  I then stamped up the sentiment using Versamark ink and stamped on the front of the card base.  Then using the Cherry Cobbler embossing powder, I added it to the top and bottom word of the sentiment.  To do this, you hold the card sideways and pour the powder down the card being careful to not get it onto the other part of the sentiment.  Once you have the colored powder added, you then repeat the procedure using the white embossing powder.  Once you have all the powder added you can then heat emboss it making sure the powder melts as they have different melting rates.  Now that I have my sentiment prepared, I stamped my flower image 3 times and used my markers to color them.  They were fussy cut and added to the card front using dimensionals.  I made sure to cross the stems at the bottom.  Using the Whisper White bakers twine I tied a triple bow and added it using glue dots where the stems cross.  My creation was finished.

Hello Everyone ~ Lots of Blossoms on my card today.

I hope you all had a great weekend.  Unfortunately mine was not too good.  I ended up eating something that did not agree with me on Friday and spent all day Saturday in bed.  No fun to be at a knitting retreat and having to be in bed.  I am still recuperating so it will be a quick post.

Our Challenge at Make My Monday is

There are so many directions this challenge could take.  I chose to use heat embossing.  I thought it would be fun to use a color and emboss on it.  I chose to use Sweet Sugarplum.  I pulled out the flower from Birthday Blossoms and I stamped the flower cluster several times.  After I heat embossed it I added my sentiment from Bunch of Blossoms.  To finish it off I added a ribbon.  Here is my completed creation.
